Established in the year 2010 under Orissa Child Welfare & Education Trust (OCWET), this institution is few kms. from heart of the capital city Bhubaneswar.

BIIT is equipped with Computer Center to cater to the needs of students and faculty in the Institute. It is having specialized laboratories to provide variety of platforms and computing environment for degree students.

PRINCIPAL: The role of the principal of the Institution is that of a Head of the Family, conscious of the hierarchy, informed about the cross-relationships, focused on VISION and MISSIONS of the institution, aware of the emerging crises, finding solutions, taking informed decisions, maintaining and monitoring systems, achieving monthly and quarterly targets on a planned path to progress and development.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Principal Academic and Administrative Head of the College responsible for:
? The Academic growth of the College to Multi-disciplinary Academic/Centre of Excellence.
? The Teaching, Research, Consultancy, Funded projects and Extension Programmes of the College.
? The reputation of the college.
? The assisting in planning and implementation of academic programmes such as seminars etc. for enhancing the academic competence of the Faculty Members.
? The admission of the students and maintenance of discipline of the College.
? The management of the College library, computer rooms etc.
? The observance of the provision of the Accounts Code.
? The correspondence relating to the administration of the College.
? The administration and supervision of curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
? Organise various kinds of sports activities and make them proficient in the fields of sports.
? Organise various medical camps from time to time in order to check the health of students.
? Celebrate every type of Indian festivals in order educate students to respect every religion and caste of country.
? Create awareness of education amongst the financial weak people.
? The observance of the Universities Act, and the Statutes, Ordinances, Regulations, Rules and other orders issued by the University from time to time, especially as under the Statutes for Autonomy.
? The Supervision of College and University examinations, assessment and moderation of answer papers and such other work pertaining to the examinations as assigned.
? The Assessing of reports of teachers and maintenance of service books and of other records of the College.
? Any other work relating to the College as may be assigned to him by the competent Authority from time to time.
